We at Lagunas believe that no matter what life throws at us, we still have the choice to be kind, good, and courageous. We work to make sure that the coffee we sell is not only some of the best in the world but is also doing good for the farmers and communities from where the coffee was grown. We chose Burundi not just for its melon and pear notes, but also to help sustain a post-war community that is supported by the coffee industry. 50% of the total population of Burundi is dependent on smallholder coffee producers.
