Description

The mountainous Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, in the province of San José, is where CoopeTarrazú’s classic La Pastora blend originates. Grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,800 meters, this high-altitude terroir qualifies the coffee as Strictly Hard Bean (SHB). The cooler temperatures at these heights contribute to a slower maturation of the coffee cherries, resulting in denser, more flavorful beans.
